Fear entered my life at the young age of 6. That was when I discovered the world wasn’t safe. Domestic violence, in the form of physical, mental and emotional abuse, was what I faced every day for years. Wicked Stepmothers, careless Father’s, and the most evil villain of all… FEAR, wasn’t some fairytale story, it was my reality.
Even after the abuse stopped, FEAR didn’t. I was paralyzed by extreme anxiety and panic and was undiagnosed with Complex PTSD, which Idiscovered later in life and in therapy. I suffered through an eating disorder and such debilitating panic that I couldn’t do much of anything and I was withering away from lack of nutrition.
But before all seems hopeless, let me tell you...this is when it gets good. It was through these experiences that BRAVE FEAR was born.
I still struggle with FEAR. I still have an anxiety and panic disorder. Some things can still trigger my PTSD. But now… I AM BRAVE FEAR. I’ve taught my fear how to be brave, I’ve embraced and redefined what fear means to me. I take Brave Fear action on a regular basis. It’s the reason you’re even on this site reading this story.
And now, I want to share Brave Fear with you. I want everyone to know that we all have Brave Fear within us, that WE ARE BRAVE FEAR and let that be our rallying war cry. That no matter what you’ve been through and experienced, from the extreme to the mundane, YOU ARE BRAVE FEAR. And you are capable of so much more than you realize.

Fear entered Brianne’s life when she was just 6 years old as she witnessed domestic violence for the first time. Wicked Stepmothers, careless Father’s, and the most evil villain of all…FEAR, wasn’t some fairytale story, it was her reality. In an effort to cope with the trauma she’d endured and live a life she loved, Brianne developed a philosophy she later coined Brave Fear. Since then Brianne has been sharing her survival story to help others reframe the way they see fear and shift their focus from fearful to hopeful. She believes that fear’s been given a bad reputation and it’s time to stop fighting our fear and instead reframe it for our good.
